hi there ^^

i'm introducing another book of Stephenie Meyer, writer of the Twilight's saga". that novel is more focused for growns-up .

The Host  ( les âmes vagabondes in french) is a science fiction/romance book. ( i read that book last september in 3 days xD)

the theme: introducing  an alien race, called souls, who take over Earth and its inhabitants.

this is a little summary : i'm not really good in summaring in english lol xD

Caracthers: the aliens ( the souls) and the rebels ( the humans who are not "hosted")

Wanderer, a soul who has already lived 8 times( if i'm not wrong) . each time, on a different planet. She arrived on Earth and she is inserted inside a female body. ( a rebel named Mélanie). The purpose of Wanderer is finding some  informations about all the others rebels.

The souls need of anothers bodies to live .. they can't live by them-selves. ( like the parasites)
When everything is alright ( if i can say that) .. i mean .. a soul is inserted inside a human body .. the owner of the body simply vanishes .. but Mélanie is a strong woman.

Mélanie really loves her little brother and the man of her life and that's why she is fighting to keep her own identity.
Now, Wanderer and Mélanie  share" the human body. Through all the memories and feelings of Mélanie, Wanderer decides to leave for searching for all the rebels. both of them hope to find back the Mélanie's brother and compagnion.

On theirs sides, The human beings ( the rebels) hide them-selves in the desert ( even under the ground).
They hate the souls ... since they arrived on Earth, Human species is vanishing ... Although the souls tell to human .. it's for your good: you are destroying the Earth ( wars, ect ..).Because of us, there won't be wars or bad things anymore .. ( sorry making a summary in french it's ok, but in english, it's different and i don't want to take the summary already written on Internet T_T )

After some "dangerous' adventures, Mél' and Wanderer will find back those , "they" - i say they .. if u read the book u'll understand why- find back - were looking for.

For the 1st time of her lives, Wanderer will have to find her place in a world where  she is not welcomed at all .. where people live with their own emotions ( good and bad). She will have to learn to live with Human Beings.

Although if Wanderer ( who will be re-named ^^) , Mélanie and all the others human beings" have to stay hidden.. temporally ..

 a seeker is looking for Wanderer ... why ?__? .. read the book

i know it's a kinda "messy" but i don't want to tell u too much about that book.

i'll put the original cover and the french one:  as u can notice .. there is a little difference between the two covers .. the eye.

I won't reveal the main point of the story in telling. we can see if a human being is "hosted". a hosted one as a " kind of light in the eyes" .. human beings have normal eyes xD ( i don't know why they change the cover here)
